Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to handle day-to-day financial transactions, including recording income and expenses, processing payroll, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable working with accounting software and spreadsheets.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in the general ledger
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections
Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular basis
Process payroll and related reporting, if applicable
Maintain and organize financial records for audit readiness
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting
Monitor cash flow and help prepare budgets or financial forecasts
Collaborate with accountants or external financial advisors as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred)
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
