Part-Time Bookkeeper

Position Overview
The Part-Time Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate records to support the organization's operations. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting nonprofit work.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software).
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments and donor contributions.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and assist with financial reporting for leadership and board meetings.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance requirements.
- Support payroll processing and ensure timely tax filings in coordination with external providers.
- Assist with budget tracking and grant reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (nonprofit experience preferred).
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Familiarity with nonprofit financial practices and compliance is a plus.
