Accounts Receivable Specialist

đź’° Compensation: $25 - $33 per hour (DOE)
Overview:
Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a dynamic organization in Portland seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of AR processes.
Responsibilities:
- Process and apply customer payments accurately and timely
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute AR reports for management review
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding billing and payment issues
- Support month-end close activities related to AR
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting support
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Team-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
