Accounts Receivable Specialist

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with strong billing experience to support our client in the Sacramento area. This is a temp‑to‑hire opportunity offering competitive pay up to $30 per hour, depending on experience.

• Process approximately 200 invoices monthly with accuracy and efficiency
• Manage the full Accounts Receivable cycle, including billing, payment posting, and customer account maintenance
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies
• Prepare AR aging reports and follow up on outstanding payments
• Communicate with internal departments and customers regarding billing concerns
• Assist with month‑end close activities related to accounts receivable
• Ensure invoices comply with company policies, customer requirements, and contract terms
  
  

• Minimum 3 years of AR experience, including high‑volume billing
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting/ERP software
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
