Billing Clerk

Hi All, I'm currently recruiting for a Billing Specialist in Durham.Key responsibilities:Create and send accurate invoices based on work orders, service agreements, and contract terms.Record and post customer payments, and reconcile any discrepancies.Answer customer inquiries, explain billing procedures, and resolve billing disputes.Track account balances, send payment reminders, and follow up on overdue accounts.Maintain accurate and detailed records of all billing-related transactions and update customer accounts.Assist with preparing financial reports and analyses as needed.Work with other departments, such as technicians and accounts receivable, to ensure smooth billing processesQualificationsProven experience in billing or a related accounting role.Proficiency with Service Trend or Service Titan and accounting and billing software, such as Sage or QuickBooks Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office, including Excel.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication (written and verbal) and customer service skills.*In Office* M-F 8-5PM.
