Audit ManagerCanton, MA ONSITE REQUIRED 2 days/weekFull time, Permanent 150k/yearly depending on experience. We are seeking an Audit Manager to join our CPA client in Canton, MA. This role will oversee and manage multiple audits, reviews, compilations, and client engagements from the planning stages all the way through final review and presentation of the financial statements. This position provides exposure to a variety of industries including but not limited to Energy, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Life Sciences and Technology.Required Experience:CPA with 5 years of recent, progressive Public Accounting Experience5 years recent Audit experience in a CPA firmBS in Accounting, MS or MBA preferredResponsibilities:Oversee multiple client engagements; planning, executing, directing, and successfully completing engagements while managing to budgetMaintain day-to-day management of engagements to ensure services are delivered in a timely mannerServe as the primary client contact on all related matters and directly interact with client owners and senior team membersRecognize and resolve potential or existing problems with appropriate research and consulting, as necessaryConsulting, working with, and servicing client base to make recommendations on business improvement and process improvement and serve as a business advisor to clientsThorough knowledge and exposure to issues which include but are not limited to mergers and acquisitions, entrepreneurship, funding requirements, growth objectives and exit strategiesAssist in the development and execution of department's various training programsSet and monitor budgets, assist with staff scheduling and workload assignmentsPrepare client billings timely and direct and assist with collection effortsEstablish and conduct formal training seminars for staff membersThink proactively and have involvement in practice development opportunities that cross sell to existing clients as well as new clientsParticipate in recruitment events, employee performance management, training support, and business development opportunitiesIf you or someone you know is interested in applying please send your updated resume in WORD format All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
