We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the dynamic team at our client in Irvine. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing our accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting our mission of sustainability and recycling.Responsibilities* Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company standards.* Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks and electronic payments.* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.* Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.* Prepare reports related to accounts payable activities for management review.* Collaborate with internal departments to address payment inquiries and issues.Requirements* Proven experience in accounting or accounts payable roles is preferred.* Strong proficiency in accounting software; experience with MAS500 is a plus.* Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
