Accounting Specialist

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team in North Carolina. This position offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to develop skills in a supportive setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for numbers and a desire to grow within the accounting field.

Responsibilities

• Account and Bank Reconciliations
• Ad Hoc projects for the VP of Finance
• Journal Entries when necessary

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting software and tools.
• Have a minimum associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
• Must have knowledge in Excel, including a background in Pivot Tables or V-lookups.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, first shift hours.

Additional Details

Pay Range: $22 - $24 per hour.

Travel Time: Around 0%.
