Staff Accountant-Hiring Immediately! Position OverviewLedgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join their team in California. This role will be project-based, contract initially and integral to maintaining the financial health and accuracy of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and a commitment to excellence.ResponsibilitiesConduct onsite, full-cycle accounting duties, including reconciliation and audit preparation.Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.Participate in project-based accounting tasks.Utilize Sage x3 software (Sage highly preferred but not required) to manage financial records.Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting procedures.Maintain accurate and organized financial records.QualificationsProven experience in full-cycle accounting and reconciliation.Familiarity with audit preparation and compliance requirements.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software; Experience with Sage highly preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Required Work HoursMonday to Friday, first shift.BenefitsEmployees are offered a competitive salary, with the pay range from $38 to $42 per hour.
