Overview:Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Garden Grove, CA, is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounting Clerk - Accounts Payable & Data Entry to join their team. The role focuses on accounts payable, accurate data entry, and administrative support to ensure smooth financial operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable:Assist with: Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner.Assist with: Match invoices with purchase orders and ensure proper coding.Assist with: Verify and process invoices related to inventory.Assist with: Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.Assist with: Monitor accounts payable email inbox and respond to inquiries promptly.Data Entry & Recordkeeping:Accurately input financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets.Maintain and update vendor records, including W-9s and payment terms.Organize and file invoices, payments, and supporting documentation for audit purposes.Administrative Support:Assist with month-end reconciliation processes.Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies.Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.6 months to two years of experience as an accounting clerk or accounts payable roles.Manufacturing industry experience is a plus but not required.Proficiency in accounting software and systems; experience with NetSuite or ERP systems is preferred.Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams professionally.Pay Range: $21-23 p/hBackground check required.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
