Accountant

Position: AccountantDuration: Full-TimeType: Temporary (open to temp to hire) Salary: $80-90K - DOE Location: Livermore, CA - 100% OnsitePOSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking an experienced Accountant to joing our client and support day‑to‑day financial operations, including accounts payable, cash receipts, bank deposits, and vendor account reconciliation. This role is hands-on and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.RESPONSIBILITIESReconcile vendor accounts and monthly statements.Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting transactions.Manage petty cash, including documentation and recording entries.Monitor and reconcile vendor activity.Process and record invoices, expense reports, and related entries.Prepare weekly cash receipts and bank deposits.Perform accurate and timely data entry.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.7 years of accounts payable experience.Experience with Oracle Suite preferred.Strong understanding of account reconciliation, general ledger activity, prepaid schedules, and billing.Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of self-motivation.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
