Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector Level 2
- Perform inspections on products (in-process, final, and received)
- Utilize a range of inspection techniques and equipment
- Ensure all products meet company and customer standards
- Guide less experienced inspectors and train/mentor new and current employees
- Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and Customer Certification Requirements
- Assist production teams in adhering to ISO 9001 processes and company policies
- Perform other duties, including audits and compliance projects, as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of inspection experience preferred
- Ability to read detailed manufacturing drawings and use measurement equipment
- Advanced knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Mie Trak, SolidWorks, and CMM tools
- Team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle conflict resolution, mentor others, and respond effectively under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects, solve complex problems, and adapt to changing circumstances
