Our global manufacturing client is seeking an Engineering Manager to join the team at their fast-paced facility in Bristol, NH. Responsibilities of the Engineering Manager – Metals
- Contribute to the development of financial and technological goals by participating in planning processes
- Apply technical expertise to develop existing and introduce new processes; identify and develop process innovations to support the site's vision and long-term direction
- Design and execute plans while leveraging the latest approaches and achieving organizational short-, mid-, and long-term goals; regularly review performance and initiate corrective actions as needed
- Ensure manufacturing capabilities, product and material application, and tool design standards are considered with respect to the implementation process
- Coordinate and monitor compliance with all legal and internal HSE requirements
- Develop employees, drive talent acquisition and management processes, and foster a proactive and collaborative work culture
- Envision the impact of potential future trends and proactively drive necessary changes, while encouraging creativity and initiative from employees
Qualifications of the Engineering Manager – Metals
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in engineering roles within the metals manufacturing industry
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory position
- Strong understanding of metallurgical processes, materials science, and manufacturing techniques
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
- Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures
- Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate self and others while taking full accountability for actions and results
