What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Field Hockey Coach position at Lebanon Valley College?
The Lebanon Valley College Department of Athletics seeks a full-time assistant women’s field hockey coach. The assistant coach works 10 months to be determined by the head coach and the sport season, typically August 1 through May 31. The primary responsibilities of the assistant coach are teaching the sport, player development, recruiting, and program building. The assistant coach is expected to demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship and conduct becoming of the coaching profession, stay abreast of any rule changes relative to field hockey, and to always adhere to all rules, regulations and policies of the NCAA and the MAC. Qualifications include a bachelor’s or advanced degree, successful background in coaching, preferable at the college level, and collegiate playing experience.
