What are the responsibilities and job description for the Library/Media Paraprofessional position at Lebanon School District?
Job Goal:
Assist students and teachers in finding resources, provide administrative support to the librarian, and ensure the library/media center maintains an organized and conducive environment for learning and research.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or coursework in library science or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience working in a library setting, particularly in a school environment, is a plus.
- Familiarity with library cataloging systems, digital resources, and basic computer applications.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
