Core Responsibilities
- Strengthen and expand relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for additional services.
- Participate in both short-range and long-term planning for the practice, including recognizing areas where the firm can broaden its presence and service offerings.
- Oversee engagement performance, ensuring billing, realization, collections, and charge-hour goals are met.
- Support business development efforts, which may include bringing in new clients, cross-serving existing relationships, and carrying out a personalized marketing strategy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, earning a reputation as a reliable and strategic advisor.
- Maintain adherence to quality standards and ensure compliance across all assigned work.
- Supervise and develop tax staff, providing direction and reviewing work as needed.
- Offer guidance on complex or specialized tax matters, serving as an internal resource or subject matter expert.
- Contribute to operational discussions and may participate on senior leadership or operations teams.
- Promote a collaborative, team-oriented environment and reinforce firm-wide initiatives and decisions.
- Handle other responsibilities or projects as assigned to support the practice.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related discipline preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 8 years of experience in public accounting or a related tax environment.
- Minimum of 6 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Active CPA license (or equivalent credential).
- Strong organizational skills to manage deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and keep engagements on track.
- Ability to travel when needed based on client or business requirements.
Salary : $165,000 - $285,000
