We are seeking an experienced Federal Business Development Manager to identify, qualify, and pursue federal contracting opportunities while supporting capture and proposal efforts.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new federal business opportunities.
- Manage opportunities throughout the business development and capture lifecycle.
- Build relationships with government customers, teaming partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Develop and execute win strategies.
- Support proposal development, pricing, and competitive positioning.
- Monitor federal market trends and procurement activity.
- Maintain pipeline forecasts and CRM reporting.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of federal business development, capture, or government contracting experience.
- Demonstrated success securing federal contracts.
- Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes.
- Experience with GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, and GSA Schedules.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Established network within federal agencies or government contracting organizations.
- Experience in IT, cybersecurity, intelligence, defense, engineering, logistics, or related industries.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Experience using GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, and USAspending.
- Proposal development or capture management experience.
- APMP certification or advanced degree preferred.
