What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President of Construction - Quick Service Restaurants position at Leap Brands?
We are looking for a Vice President of Construction who knows how to open restaurants at scale and keep them on time, on budget, and on brand.
This role owns the full construction lifecycle across the system. Site development, buildouts, remodels, vendor management, timelines, budgets, and execution in the field. If you have lived through aggressive growth, dealt with franchisees, landlords, GCs, and still delivered openings without excuses, this will make sense to you.
What You’ll Own
- End-to-end construction strategy and execution across all locations
- New store development, remodels, and reinvestment initiatives
- Managing timelines, budgets, and delivery across multiple markets
- Building and leading internal construction and project management teams
- Overseeing GCs, architects, engineers, and vendor partners
- Standardizing processes to improve speed, cost, and consistency
- Working cross-functionally with real estate, operations, and franchise teams
- Supporting franchisees through the build process and holding them accountable
What This Role Actually Requires
- You’ve opened a lot of restaurants and understand what breaks
- You know how to move projects forward without waiting on perfect conditions
- You can manage multiple builds at once without losing control of details
- You understand permitting, zoning, and local market challenges
- You know how to push vendors and GCs while maintaining relationships
- You are comfortable being in the field, not just reviewing timelines

Background We’re Looking For
- Multi-unit construction leadership experience within QSR or retail
- Experience supporting aggressive growth (new builds remodels)
- Strong knowledge of permitting, site development, and buildout processes
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage external partners at scale
Salary : $150,000 - $225,000
