Construction Project Manager
Leander Construction, a Central Illinois general contractor, is seeking a motivated and
experienced Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for
a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to
delivering high-quality commercial construction projects.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction project management
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets and evaluate financial performance
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, including change-order processing
- Review and track submittals and shop drawings
- Serve as liaison between architects/engineers, owners, and field personnel
- Maintain schedules using industry-standard project management tools
- Interpret and administer contract terms and conditions
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders
Skills & Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction estimating/scheduling software
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
