We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage appointment scheduling and payment collection with precision and professionalism.
- Collect patient information, perform intake procedures, and accurately record clinical information and chart prep using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as taking patient histories, preparing examination rooms, and supporting procedures like X-ray or medication prescriptions.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication protocols to support accurate documentation and billing processes.
- Manage administrative duties such as maintaining organized medical records, ordering labs and coordinating of care and or referrals.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries promptly, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring a comfortable experience throughout their visit.
Experience
- Prior experience working in outpatient medical settings is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EHR systems and familiarity with ICD coding for accurate documentation.
- Knowledge of med-spa practices and or hormone replacement protocols.
- Background in hospital or clinic environments involving intake assessments, vital signs collection, or medication administration is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology combined with practical experience in inpatient or outpatient care settings will ensure success in this role.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
