Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Amherst/Buffalo, NY Area
Compensation: $18-$20/hour (W2)
Schedule: Flexible hours available; typically Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
We are seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven Recruiter to help scale hiring efforts for sales and customer service positions throughout the Buffalo/Amherst area.
This is NOT a post jobs and wait recruiting role. We are looking for a true go-getter, someone who thrives on networking, building partnerships, creating pipelines, and finding talent through every possible local channel.
What You'll Do
Source large volumes of candidates for sales and customer service positions
Build Strong Relationships With
Local workforce development agencies
Community employment programs
Career centers
Job boards
Staffing networks
Colleges and training programs
Attend local hiring events and networking opportunities when needed
Develop creative grassroots recruiting strategies
Screen candidates and coordinate interviews
Maintain active candidate pipelines and follow-up communication
Help improve hiring speed and applicant flow
What Were Looking For
Recruiting, Staffing, Or Talent Acquisition Experience Preferred
Call center dialers and CRM's preferred
Experience with high-volume hiring is a major plus
Strong communication and networking skills
Someone who is proactive, resourceful, and persistent
Comfortable making outreach calls and building local partnerships
Organized and able to manage multiple hiring priorities
Familiarity with Buffalo-area workforce resources is highly desirable
Basic Computer Skills-Microsoft Office
Acceptable related experience: onboarding, recruiting, hiring manager experience, sales leadership, someone who thrives on networking, building partnerships, creating pipelines
