Entry-Level Assistant Project Manager

We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to launch a career in commercial construction project management.
Position Overview:
As an Entry-Level Assistant Project Manager, you will support our project managers and field teams with the daily coordination and administration of construction projects. You will gain hands-on experience in public sector construction while learning the ins and outs of project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in tracking project schedules and daily progress
- Help review bids, plans, and construction documentation
- Perform take-offs and help prepare bids and estimates
- Perform basic quantity takeoffs and assist with estimates
- Prepare and submit RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes
- Help manage purchase orders and materials tracking
- Participate in project meetings and maintain communication with subcontractors
- Visit jobsites frequently to review progress and complete daily reports
- Support project close-out, punch lists, and as-builts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or currently completing one) is a plus, but not required.
- Construction experience is a plus.
- Strong interest in commercial construction and public infrastructure
- Basic understanding of construction processes and documents
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Bluebeam or Procore is a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional attitude and strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within a team environment
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass Level 2 background check (Jessica Lunsford Act) for school jobsites
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
