A leading global private markets firm is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant that will support day-to-day fund accounting, valuation, analysis, and oversight for US and international funds. The Senior Fund Accountant will work closely with the Private Wealth Fund Accounting and Monitoring & Reporting teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Track daily investment and cash activity, including funding, expenses, and payments
- Manage portfolio forecasts, accruals, and GAAP reporting, comparing forecasts to actuals
- Support portfolio data updates and reconciliations
- Assist with valuation processes and preparation of committee materials
- Coordinate with deal teams on investment valuations and updates
- Perform operational due diligence on investments and managers
- Support NAV preparation and financial reporting
- Prepare audit workpapers and assist with annual audits
- Assist with transaction closings and related analysis
- Coordinate with fund administrators and support reporting requirements
- Contribute to dashboards, board materials, and general accounting tasks
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3–5 years of accounting or audit experience
- Experience with investment company accounting preferred
- Strong communication and Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPA qualification preferred
