Position: Scheduler Planner

Position Purpose: Improve work force productivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
· Works safely at all times.
· Responsible for presenting an image of professionalism in every aspect of the duties performed.
· Identify areas of improvement, maintenance planning and scheduling, preventive and predictive maintenance, material consumption and equipment life & serviceability.
· Track and report on all improvement activities (development, impact, implementation, confirmation, results).
· Detailed Job planning, including but not limited to: Researching, Scoping of work, estimating of material and labor (internal and external) job requirements, developing task instructions, identifying tool and equipment requirements, developing job material lists, PM and Standard Job Plan Development, and Resource leveling.
· Manage and Schedule all contractors preforming work at the site, Planning and scheduling for shutdowns (major and minor).
· Development of Planner reference systems including a file of Planned Job Packages for recurring jobs, plus labor and material libraries for each piece of equipment.
· Keeps the Site Manager and/or customer informed of abnormal or critical situations.
· Identify recommendations and/or areas for improvements.
· Maintains essential records and files from which management reports are prepared and distributed.
· Enters purchase requisitions for all planned services.
· Enters CMMS system reservations for all planned material requirements.
· Responsible for the maintenance of the Bills of Material (Parts lists) for assets including ensuring current information is accurate.
· Participation in budgetary preparation, tracking, and analysis.
· Assist the Reliability Engineer in periodic analysis of cost trends with recommendations for continual improvement.
· Reviews all work order feedback and updates PMs and Standard Work Orders accordingly.
· Timely completion of all required Leadec and customer reports.
· Assist in the preparation of detailed work packages and job plans that include equipment, parts, materials, documentation, and special tools and for the delivery of these parts and services when they are needed.
· Supports the Facility Manager in maintaining an appropriate backlog of effectively planned work ready for scheduling when maintenance resources are available.
· Maintains established metrics of performance to ensure the maintenance function continues to improve.
· Assist with parts inventory, materials, special tools, and personnel requirements for the department.
· Assist with the planning activities for all maintenance work orders in CMMS (Maximo).
· Assist the maintenance manager with maintaining the estimate for craft hours, labor, and material costs for each work order.
· Routinely meets with the Facility Manager and Customer Leadership to ensure work order priorities are established and the appropriate packages completed and available.
· Perform periodic audits on preventative maintenance plans and make corrections as needed.
· Actively attends all required meetings.
· Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
· All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.

Position Qualifications:
· CMMS skills and experience (Maximo, SAP and Infor preferred).
· Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
· Technical Maintenance Background.
· 5-10 years of related experience.
· Proper email etiquette.
· Demonstrated competency in the following:
o Proven multi-tasking capabilities, ability to plan, prioritize and manage complex issues and projects under aggressive timelines.
o Recognize/understand the platforms, nomenclature, functions and relationships, failure modes and expected life cycles of various components that make up manufacturing equipment.
