Job Description
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager this person is responsible for effectively managing vehicles, equipment and tool related tasks. See below for more details.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Manage the company fleet. All maintenance, repairs, and tracking of company vehicles.
· Manage and supervise all equipment and tool use. Equipment and power tools are to be tracked and maintained across various job sites.
· Maintain proactive schedule for maintenance, inspection, and licensing of all company assets.
· Provide back up to material acquisition role.
· Manage daily operations of the equipment and tools, provide inventory management on the equipment and tools while preparing and delivering a reliable maintenance & repair schedule using resource planning software tools provided by the company.
· Assist in orderly maintenance of all warehouse inventory.
· Track the records, licenses, inspections, warrantees, and service agreements for the organization's equipment and tools.
· Minimize organizational cost through product standardization and tracking.
· Track equipment quality throughout the product lifetime and makes recommendations for alternatives if needed.
· Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met while adhering to approved budgets for both capital and maintenance expenditures.
· Knowledge of department processes and resource planning software.
· Order materials when Purchasing Manager is off and when necessary. (Back-up to Purchasing Manager.)
Qualifications:
· Must have a high mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and the ability to learn how heavy equipment works are essential.
· The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
· Good organizational skills.
Experience
· Preferred experience in vehicle, equipment and tool maintenance.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
