Construction Site Cleaner

Location: Mooresville, IN

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Cleaner to join our team in Mooresville, Indiana. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, organized, and safe common areas on an active construction site, with a primary focus on cleaning the canteen/break area and office spaces.

The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in keeping spaces clean and organized, and is comfortable working in an active construction environment. In addition to cleaning duties, this position may assist with general labor and site-support tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the site canteen, break areas, and offices
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors as needed
• Wipe down tables, counters, desks, and other surfaces
• Clean and sanitize common areas and frequently touched surfaces
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Maintain clean and sanitary restroom areas as assigned
• Restock paper products, soap, and other cleaning supplies
• Keep cleaning supplies organized and notify supervision when supplies are running low
• Remove debris and help maintain an orderly work environment
• Assist with general site cleanup and housekeeping
• Perform light general labor and site-support duties as needed
• Follow all site safety policies and procedures
• Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Report unsafe conditions or maintenance concerns to supervision
• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, construction, or general labor experience preferred, but not required
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and stay productive with limited supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and site safety requirements
• Comfortable working around an active construction environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Must be able to work the scheduled shift consistently
