Our firm is hiring a Retirement Plans Specialist to lead the service and operations of our retirement plans business. This professional will collaborate with our partners and leadership team to build and own processes as we grow our 401(k) business. The right candidates should have subject matter expertise in service/operations of retirement plans and be confident in a client facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
- 401(k) Plan Setup & Administration
- Complete new plan paperwork from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assist with repricing and upgrading plan features as needed
- Plan Conversions
- Manage transitions between recordkeepers
- Coordinate with TPAs, recordkeepers, and plan sponsors throughout the process
- Employee Support
- Answer employee questions about plan features, enrollment, contributions, loans, and withdrawals
- Prepare and deliver enrollment and education materials
- Identify individual planning opportunities
- Assist with termination requests and in-coming rollovers
- Plan Sponsor Interaction
- Engage proactively with plan sponsors to address needs and provide updates
- Ensure smooth plan administration
- Plan & Investment Reviews
- Assist in preparing review materials and presenting key metrics
- Address plan sponsor concerns during presentations
- Compliance & Documentation
- Complete and maintain all plan documents, amendments, and compliance filings
- Process Improvement
- Identify and implement workflow enhancements for greater efficiency and improved experience for plan sponsors and participants
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience In:
- Retirement Plans Industry
- Problem Solving, Attention to Detail, Initiative, Follow-through
- New 401(k) plan set-up
- Plan Conversions & Recordkeeper Transitions
- Employer/Employee Communication & Service
- Investment licenses (Series 6 or 7) or the ability to achieve in the first 12 months
- Compensation
- $90,000 - $120,000 base range
- Potential to receive incentive compensation for growth of firm’s qualified plan segment and/or uncovering new business
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
