This is an ONSITE role.
Practice Director
We are seeking a sharp, proactive problem solver who is highly detail-oriented, committed to excellence, and experienced in wealth management. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational leadership, a high level of accountability, and the ability to help a growing practice run at a first-class level.
This role is designed for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day effectiveness of the practice while also contributing to long-term strategy, talent development, and executive-level leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
· The Practice Director will assume ownership over supervising and ensuring that all systems, workflows, and processes within the practice operate effectively and efficiently.
o This includes developing, implementing, and monitoring workflows, as well as stepping into day-to-day work when necessary to support team members and ensure that key responsibilities are completed.
o This person will lead the identification of operational friction points and amend systems and processes as needed to improve efficiency, consistency, and service delivery.
· The Practice Director will have involvement in growth and practice strategy, including marketing, prospecting, and client experience initiatives. This may include supporting client events, social media efforts, and other projects intended to enhance the client experience and strengthen firm awareness in the marketplace.
· The Practice Director will also foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and exceeding client expectations.
· Working closely with other team members, the Practice Director will help ensure that all financial planning and investment-related work is completed in a first-class fashion. The ideal candidate will have strong familiarity with financial planning and wealth management concepts, terminology, and client service expectations. A working knowledge of basic portfolio management and investment operations is required.
· In partnership with the firm owner, the Practice Director will identify hiring needs, lead recruiting efforts, and support employee development and performance management. Practice-specific human resources responsibilities will also fall under this position.
Other responsibilities, but not limited to:
· This role will also be responsible for setting agendas for team meetings, leading those meetings effectively, and ensuring clear follow-up and accountability afterward.
· The Practice Director will serve as a central point of contact for vendors, facilities, communications, and other operational, compliance, technology, and miscellaneous matters related to the practice.
· The position also includes helping ensure confidentiality, compliance, and the proper tracking of data, client information, and key business metrics that are vital to the firm’s success.
· The ideal candidate will be proactive in their own professional development and ongoing learning, especially in the areas of team building, process improvement, and the financial planning process. The long-term goal is for this role to contribute meaningfully to the executive-level leadership of the firm.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Five or more years of experience in the wealth management industry required.

Onsite $140,000 base
