POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Compliance Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the organization’s compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies by managing issues, overseeing regulatory and agency change initiatives, and validating action plan outcomes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive sustainable compliance solutions. DESCRIPTION Duties and Responsibilities Issues Management: Monitor, track, and report on compliance-related issues across the organization. Partner with business units to ensure timely and effective remediation of identified issues. Validate corrective actions and sustainability through quality control and testing. Maintain documentation and audit trails for issue resolution and closure. Regulatory & Agency Change Management: Analyze regulatory and agency updates to assess impact on business operations. Coordinate with Legal, Risk, and business units to implement required changes. Review and monitor compliance for all lending products, including HELOC, conventional, FHA, VA and jumbo loans. Maintain a regulatory change log and ensure timely communication of changes to stakeholders. Support the development and revision of policies, procedures, and training materials. Action Plan Validation: Participate in cross-functional action plans to ensure compliance requirements are met. Validate action plan deliverables against regulatory expectations and internal standards. Conduct post-implementation reviews to confirm sustainability and effectiveness. Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement Performs related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, related field, or equivalent experience. 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs. Experience with issue tracking systems and regulatory change management tools. Experience in financial services or mortgage servicing. Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., CFPB, HELOC, state agencies). Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with project management methodologies. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI). Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence across levels.
