JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst who can transform complex business challenges into measurable outcomes. This role involves analyzing diverse business areas, creating comparative performance frameworks, defining KPIs, and delivering actionable reports to leadership and staff. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement and ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities.
Leverage Deltek Vantagepoint and other tools to extract, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
Develop performance frameworks and establish KPIs aligned with business objectives.
Design and maintain dashboards and reports for leadership and staff.
Monitor business performance and recommend improvements based on data insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting needs and implement data-driven strategies.
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms.
Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership.
Support testing and rollout of new systems or enhancements.
Stay current with Deltek Vantagepoint updates, industry trends, and best practices.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5–10 years of experience in business analysis or performance management.
Proven ability to develop and manage KPIs and performance dashboards.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Experience leading projects and mentoring team members.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Preferred 2 years of hands-on experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar software programs.
Experience in professional services or project-based environments.
Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting.
Knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools.
Understanding of financial and operational metrics relevant to consulting or engineering firms.

Salary : $87,000 - $115,000
