Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Breakfast Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests during breakfast hours, delivering exceptional service that sets the tone for their entire dining experience. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks will ensure our guests enjoy a memorable and seamless breakfast service. Duties

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and seat them promptly, providing menus and explaining daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff.
• Serve breakfast items, beverages, and cocktails efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including sales transaction processing and handling tips with professionalism.
• Upsell menu items, beverages, or specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food handling and food safety practices.
• Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including inventory checks and restocking supplies.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in breakfast or fine dining settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques like OpenTable reservations management.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy breakfast hours.
• Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales while enhancing guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy; experience with cashiering preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
