• Support the daily operations of school health offices and provide nursing services to students requiring health support during the school day.
• Deliver first aid and emergency care for illness and injury, making referrals to healthcare providers when appropriate.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures in accordance with physician orders, district policy, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate student health records, health office documentation, accident reports, and activity logs.
• Conduct mandated health screenings, monitor immunization compliance, and follow up on screening referrals.
• Identify student health concerns and assist in managing communicable diseases and health-related school exclusions.
• Collaborate with families, school staff, healthcare providers, and community agencies to support student health and wellness.
• Monitor and maintain health office supplies and identify health and safety concerns within the school environment.
• Serve as a health resource for students, families, and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Health Services.
