What You'll Do
- Monitor production processes and move parts to the next stage.
- Retrieve tooling and materials, match job numbers to kits, and stage for production.
- Update tooling and materials, match job numbers to kits, and stage for production.
- Keep products and parts moving efficiently through the production process.
- Maintain general production supplies.
- General inventory experience.
- Sitdown Fork Lift to move palletized loads between departments.
- Blueprint reading, through work experience or certification classes.
- Collect and verify parts from various departments to complete kit/pick list.
- Identify, sort and separate parts, effectively, to not create clutter.
- Communicate effectively with other department leads, machine shop, sheet metal, inventory, welding.
- WO Logging, tracking, progress and kitting of work order into system notes.
- Assist and communicate in staging and consolidation to prepare kit/WO transfer/transit to next department.
- Follow and assist in kitting based on demand, customer job priorities.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment.
