About The Role
We are seeking a CNC Setup Machinist with advanced experience in machine setups to run precision milling and turning operations on HAAS machinery. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience setting up CNC mills and lathes, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

About The Role
We are seeking a CNC Setup Machinist with advanced experience in machine setups to run precision milling and turning operations on HAAS machinery. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience setting up CNC mills and lathes, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining quality and efficiency on the shop floor.
What You'll Do
- Proficiency in CNC setups and operation, including 3-5 axis mills (required) and lathes (preferred).
- Experience with Fanuc Controls.
- Experience editing programs at the machine terminal.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push, pull, or exert 25 pounds.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and quality control
- Knowledge of machining cyclinder heads and welded parts.
- 5 years or more years experience setting up HAAS or Fanuc control CNC machines mills and / or lathes.
- Responsibilities include reviewing manufacturing documentation, Properly measuring and installing tooling, ensuring part quality standards are met, and maintaing equipment to company-defined standards.
- Review manufacturing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including 3-5 axis milling centers, horizontal and vertical mills.
- Perform setups for both CNC mill operations (required, and lathe operations (preferred).
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure part quality standards are met.
- Maintain equipment according to company-defined standards.
- Collaborate with team memebers to optimize machining processes.
- Operate more than one machine depending on production volume.
- The role requires handling equipment and materials in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
