Production Control Expeditor

About the Role:

The Production Control Expeditor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of materials and components throughout the manufacturing process. This position is responsible for monitoring production schedules, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments, and proactively addressing any delays or bottlenecks that could impact delivery timelines. The primary goal is to optimize production efficiency by expediting orders, managing inventory levels, and facilitating communication between procurement, production, and logistics teams. By maintaining a clear overview of production status and material availability, the Production Control Expeditor helps to minimize downtime and supports the achievement of production targets. Ultimately, this role contributes to maintaining high customer satisfaction by ensuring products are completed and delivered on schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in production control, expediting, or supply chain coordination within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers, production teams, and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience with M1 or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Certification in supply chain or production control
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
