As a Production Expeditor, you will:Expedite movement of jobs between production areas, according to predetermined production schedules and other priorities. Follows sequence of operations in accordance with written, routers and verbal instructions. • Reads and interprets department dispatch lists for prioritizing purposes. Confers with department supervisors and leads to discuss progress of jobs, completion dates and delinquent jobs. Attend daily shipment meeting to determine which jobs to push throughout the day. Locates and moves jobs to specified production areas manually or using a handcart or forklift. May examine parts or jobs received, verify parts against the router or print, based on the drawing, check for visual discrepancies, such as damaged or mixed parts. Communicate to Quality and Manufacturing any issues that may arise throughout the course of production. Support production through the manufacturing process as required. Utilize job tracking as production moves to each department.This is a Full-time opportunity.Schedule: 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday with OT when needed. The ideal candidate will have: 1–3 years in manufacturing, logistics, or inventory control.Supply chain knowledge: Understanding of procurement, warehousing, and production scheduling.Ability to liaise between departments and external vendors to resolve delays.Problem-solving: Quick response to shortages, shipment delays, or production bottlenecks.Detail orientation: Accuracy in tracking orders, shipments, and production schedules.Time management: Prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines.Pay Rate*: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
