Eligibility
Contractual (One year)
The contract can be extended further depending on the assessment of performance, mutual willingness, and depending on the requirement. The contract may be terminated on one month’s notice from either side or on payment of one month’s pay in lieu thereof. Unauthorised absence may lead to termination of the engagement.
Salary
The remuneration package will be commensurate with the experience and profile of the selected candidate, subject to
a maximum of Rs. 10 lakh per annum and deduction of applicable taxes. The amount of the consultancy fee so fixed shall remain unchanged during the term of engagement

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), New Delhi, is hiring a Consultant in the PSP Division.
Eligibility
- The applicant should only be an Indian national.
- The applicant should be a lawyer and should have a Graduate/Post Graduate degree in law (LL.B./LLM) from a reputed recognised institution from India or abroad with specialisation in drafting of legislation.
- The applicant should have a minimum 05 years of experience in drafting and amending legislative and policy matters.
- Preference will be given to lawyers who have been legal researchers, working on issues related to Administration.
- Excellent writing skills in both English and Hindi are necessary.
- The applicant should be between 30 -50 years as on the last date of submission of application and should be of sound health.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in the use of computers (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
- To provide legal advice & assistance on the Court Cases related to PSP Division, notably relating to Admin, Cadre & RTI etc.
- To provide legal advice on the representation & any other issue entrusted to the Consultant.
- To coordinate & liaise with the Department of Legal Affairs (DOLA) & the Department of Personnel & Training (DOPT) as and when required.
- Any other duty assigned by the Head of Department (HoD).

- Ministry of External Affairs will review the applications and shortlist the candidates for interview / written test. The shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email.

- Applicants will have to make their own arrangements to reach the place of interview.
- No TA/DA will be payable by the Ministry to Applicants for attending the interview.
