The Law Office is hiring an experienced attorney who can handle matters start-to-finish in a fast-moving, client-first practice focused on real estate transactions (residential & commercial) and landlord–tenant matters.
What you’ll do
- Run residential and commercial closings from contract to post-closing
- Appear in Landlord–Tenant court; manage filings, negotiations, and hearings
- Draft and negotiate leases, addenda, purchase/sale agreements, and settlement docs
- Handle due diligence (title, COs, liens, Phase I/II coordination) and problem-solve issues to the finish line
- Communicate with clients, lenders, brokers, inspectors, and opposing counsel with professionalism and urgency
What you bring
- Admitted in New Jersey and in good standing
- Meaningful experience in real estate and landlord–tenant (no strict year count, but you’re comfortable owning files)
- Courtroom and negotiation confidence; crisp writing; organized case management
- A “get it done, keep it moving” mindset and strong client service
