Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney
Location: Forest Hills, NY
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage plaintiff-side personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
- Handle cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, catastrophic injuries, and general negligence.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other legal documents.
- Conduct and defend depositions, including expert depositions.
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and motion arguments.
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
- Negotiate settlements and collaborate with partners on litigation strategy.
- Communicate with clients regularly regarding case progress and legal strategy.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active New York Bar admission in good standing.
- 2 years of personal injury litigation experience.
- Strong plaintiff-side personal injury experience preferred.
- Excellent litigation, negotiation, and case-management skills.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $175,000-$275,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, years of practice, and other qualifications.
