Responsibilities
- Manage family law matters from client intake through final resolution.
- Draft a variety of legal documents, including petitions, responses, declarations, Requests for Order (RFOs), judgments, marital settlement agreements, and discovery.
- Prepare, review, and electronically file pleadings with California courts.
- Maintain case files, litigation calendars, deadlines, and attorney schedules.
- Coordinate hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, trial binders, and subpoenas.
- Conduct legal research regarding California family law and court procedures.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 5 years of Family Law Paralegal experience.
- Strong knowledge of California family law procedures and court rules.
- Experience with California electronic court filing (e-filing).
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
Preferred
- Trial preparation experience.
- Experience using legal case management software.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $100,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
