Responsibilities
- Handle complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and other litigation-related documents.
- Conduct and defend depositions, hearings and other court proceedings.
- Manage written discovery and participate in case strategy and development.
- Analyze complex legal and factual issues and develop practical litigation strategies.
- Communicate directly with clients and provide thoughtful, business-focused legal advice.
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- Experience handling commercial or complex civil litigation matters or someone open to do commercial litigation work.
- Excellent communication and client-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively in a collaborative environment
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $190,000 – $250,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
