A highly respected boutique litigation practice is seeking an Appellate Litigation Attorney to join its growing team in Long Island, New York.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney who enjoys legal research, persuasive writing, litigation strategy, and handling sophisticated appellate matters in both state and federal courts.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft appellate briefs, motions, and legal memoranda
• Analyze complex legal issues and develop an appellate strategy
• Handle appeals in state and federal courts
• Conduct advanced legal research
• Participate in oral argument preparation
• Work closely with trial counsel and clients on litigation strategy
Qualifications
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active New York Bar admission
• Prior appellate, litigation, or judicial clerkship experience preferred
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
• Strong oral and written advocacy abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 and $190,000. Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
