About the Role
:We are seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Trusts & Estates Attorney to join our highly respected and growing private client practice. This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished attorney who enjoys sophisticated estate planning and estate administration work and is looking for a long-term leadership opportunity within a collaborative and supportive environment
.The successful candidate will work with a well-established team handling a substantial and sophisticated trusts and estates practice, including estate planning, estate administration, fiduciary matters, and estate tax planning. The practice serves individuals and families with estates typically ranging from $2 million to $25 million, with occasional higher-net-worth matters
.This role offers significant autonomy, direct client engagement, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys and an exceptional support team. For the right individual, this position presents a potential succession opportunity as part of the firm's long-term growth and leadership planning

Key Responsibilitie
- s:Manage a diverse litigation caseload from inception through resolutio
- n.Advise individuals and families on estate planning strategies, wealth transfer planning, and asset protection matter
- s.Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and related estate planning document
- s.Manage complex estate administration and probate matters from inception through final distributio
- n.Counsel fiduciaries regarding trust and estate administration responsibilitie
- s.Prepare and oversee estate, gift, and fiduciary tax planning matter
- s.Review and assist with estate tax return preparation and related tax filing
- s.Provide strategic guidance on trust administration, fiduciary compliance, and wealth preservation objective
- s.Collaborate closely with clients, accountants, financial advisors, and other professional advisor
- s.Mentor junior attorneys and support staff while contributing to practice development initiative
- s.Maintain strong client relationships through responsive service and trusted legal counse
l.
Qualificatio
- ns:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law scho
- ol.Active license and good standing with the applicable State B
- ar.10 years of experience in trusts and estates, estate planning, and estate administrati
- on.Significant experience handling sophisticated estate planning matters and probate administrati
- on.Estate tax return preparation and estate tax planning experience strongly preferr
- ed.Excellent drafting, analytical, communication, and client relationship skil
- ls.Ability to manage a substantial caseload while maintaining exceptional client service standar
