What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Law Firm?
Job Summary:
Will assist busy eastside law firm by providing support services to law firm staff. Hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Monday through Friday.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Meet with attorneys and support staff to discuss assigned cases or projects.
- Receive visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary office supplies and material.
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries/faxes.
- Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
- Update calendars and schedule meetings.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
- Enter attorney time into Timesolv.
- Copy, prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, deposition transcripts, pleadings, and other items.
- Open new files and update existing files.
- Process weekly payables.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers).
