My client, a top law firm, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 3 years of experience to join their team in St Louis MO
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and motion
- Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and arbitration
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carrier
- Develop litigation strategies and work closely with senior attorneys and partner
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 3 years of experience in civil litigation and/or insurance defense
- Active license/ In good standing to practice law
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skill
- Excellent communication and advocacy skill
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $120k-190k base. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
