About The Role
As a Training Specialist you will develop and deliver technical training programs supporting operations, onboarding, and qualification processes.
You will report to the Team Manager of Inside Operations and be located at Ogden, UT. You will support this role 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Build training materials including manuals, SOPs, job aids, and digital content aligned with adult learning principles.
- Partner with SMEs and teams ensuring training content met operational needs, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify required skills, competencies, and qualification pathways.
- Conduct general and special training programs covering specific areas, such as on-the-job training, for clerical, technical, and production employees.
- Facilitate, develop and administer technical and vocational training.
- Be a liaison with external education organizations.
- Maintain accurate training records and support LMS administration.
- Facilitate workshops, hands-on learning sessions, and instructor-led training.
- Measure training effectiveness using assessments, surveys, and performance outcomes.
- Coordinate training schedules and support trainers to ensure readiness for new processes.
- Design e-learning modules, blended learning materials, and instructional content for technical audiences.
- Standardize training systems and documentation ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support technology rollouts through training materials and qualification tools.
- Collaborate with leadership and SMEs to align training with our priorities.
- High school diploma or recognized equivalent
- 2 years of progressive experience in technical training, instructional design, or workforce development.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex or enterprise‑level training programs.
- Experience influencing team members and collaborating across departments and leadership levels.
- Experience supporting operations, manufacturing, technical, or regulated environments.
- Experience developing other people
- Experience with employee relations policies, industrial standards, quality requirements and environmental/safety regulations.
- Apply planning/scheduling tools to communicate plans and report performance.
- Original thinking required decision-making
