About The Role
As a Global Inventory Management Intern, you will support our manufacturing inventory operations in the United States. You will gain valuable exposure to global supply chain dynamics while optimizing inventory.
You will report to the Senior Director, Material Planning and be located at our Columbia location. This is a paid, full-time hybrid summer position.
Key Responsibilities
- Help analyze global inventory levels, including stock movements, turnover rates and trending
- Support inventory forecasting and 5 year business plan creation
- Help create a Plan for Every Part (PFEP)
- Help develop inventory reports, dashboards, and KPI's using tools like Excel, Power BI, Power Query or ERP systems (i.e. SAP)
- Participate in projects related to material master data, excess and obsolete inventory and safety stock
- Contribute to documentation of work instructions and best practices
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree or supply chain management, logistics, business administration, business analytics or related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Completed Sophomore year of college
- Experience with inventory concepts (e.g. Safety stock, ABC analysis)
