Job Responsibilities
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of financial records
- Reconcile sub-ledgers to general ledger balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Assist with the posting and reconciliation of trade promotion accruals vs. actuals
- Support intercompany transaction entries and monthly reconciliation
- Provide assistance during internal and external audits by preparing schedules and gathering documentation
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and other departments to ensure accurate GL and cost center coding, including reclasses when needed
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of Finance-related purchase orders in SAP
- Participate in ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Prior experience in an accounting role, internship, or related function
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive mindset
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and independently
- Comfortable working under pressure and handling unexpected challenges with a positive attitude
- Occasionally travel (up to 10%) to our North American Headquarters in West Chester, PA.
