Line Cook (Part-Time | Full-Time | Seasonal)
Position Summary
Laurel Valley Golf Club is seeking Line Cooks to support our Food & Beverage operations during the season. This role is responsible for preparing and executing menu items to club standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. This position may also support general kitchen cleaning and dishwashing responsibilities as needed to ensure efficient operations.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines
- Set up and stock assigned station with necessary supplies and ingredients
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and timely execution during service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Support overall kitchen operations, including receiving, storing, and rotating product properly
Dishwashing & Kitchen Support Duties:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish area and kitchen equipment
- Assist with trash removal, recycling, and general kitchen cleaning
- Support team members as needed to maintain efficient kitchen flow
What We’re Looking For
- Prior cooking or kitchen experience preferred (restaurant, club, or hospitality setting)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to support both cooking and dishwashing responsibilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
