Wellness Coordinator

Laurel Parc, a beautiful senior living community just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area seeks a Wellness Coordinator to join the Resident Experiences team! This position will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring wellness programs, initiatives and the wellness center to ensure residents have the highest quality of physical and social well-being. 

Schedule: Tuesday- Saturday 10am-6pm

Pay: $25.00- $25.50

Shift: Full Time

Main Responsibilities:  

• Coordinate, supervise and facilitate daily wellness activities for residents to provide a positive overall experience. 

• Help to ensure each wellness initiative is prepared beforehand according to the time scheduled. 

• Have knowledge of proper use of equipment, possess ability to answer questions in regards to wellness, and refer issues to necessary individual(s) at Laurel Parc. 

• Check-in with residents regarding nutrition, health, social and fitness concerns. 

Qualifications:  

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). College degree preferred.  

• Two years working with senior population with 6 months related wellness experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

• Prior supervisor and swimming/pool fitness experience also required. 

Language Requirement 

All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
